This blog is dedicated to the woman that has an imperfect past, but is aware that it doesn’t define where she is headed. This blog is for the woman that survived the thing that was meant to destroy her spirit.

As a Christian millennial, I struggled with finding content that I could personally relate to. I can’t relate to the First Lady that has the perfect family, home, and ministry. I need to hear from the woman that God pulled out of a pit. I need to read encouraging words from the woman that left a tough situation in pursuit of God’s will for her life. God put it in my spirit to create the thing I’ve been looking for. So here we are — women pursuing God as we overcome life’s challenges. I pray that every single woman that reads this blog is encouraged to press forward.

After majoring in Religious Studies at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, she began to pursue a career in production and media management. Reneaki currently resides in Durham, North Carolina where she serves at her local church and freelances in production and media management.

  2. My dad and sister are my best friends. My mother was also one; now she is my angel.

  3. I played clarinet and tenor saxophone in high school.

  4. I absolutely hate chocolate.

  5. If I could live anywhere, it would be in a high rise in D.C.

  6. As a child, I desired to become a news journalist.

  7. I believe that Draymond Green is the most beautiful man on God’s green earth.

  8. My favorite artist of all time is the late Whitney Elizabeth Houston (RIP Auntie Nippy).
